Capstone Partners Advises OPNET Technologies on its Acquistion of Network Physics

Boston, MA - OPNET Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPNT), a leading provider of solutions for managing networks and applications, announced that it has completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Network Physics, Inc., a privately held software company headquartered in Mountain View, California. The acquisition contributes key components to OPNET's product portfolio for application performance management. Capstone Partners acted as the exclusive investment banking advisor to OPNET.
The NetSensory product line of Network Physics enables enterprises to monitor end-to-end application performance in real-time, detect anomalies, and increase IT productivity. OPNET’s recently launched ACE Live, powered by Network Physics, enables OPNET to immediately deliver end-user experience monitoring.
