Boston, MA - Capstone Partners LLC, a national investment banking firm, announced that it has successfully advised Rockport College and The Maine Photographic Workshops on their recent acquisition by a newly formed non-profit group consisting of former staff and faculty members.  Capstone acted as the exclusive investment banking advisor to the principal shareholder of Rockport College and The Maine Photographic Workshops.  The terms of this transaction were not disclosed.

 

Jacob Voorhees led the transaction team for Capstone and commented by saying, “This transaction will enable Rockport College and the Maine Photographic Workshops to maintain their artistic integrity and continue as the worldwide leader in photography and film education.”  The announcement marks the most recent transaction in a long string of post-secondary education deals completed by Capstone Partners, which has become known as the most active investment banking firm in the sector nationally.
