Darryl Birtwistle, in his role as Director of Business Development, heads the New York office and is responsible for Capstone’s new client relations and industry research initiatives. Prior to joining Capstone, Darryl founded Birtwistle & Company LLC, an independent advisory firm, where he partnered with multiple bulge bracket and boutique banks to provide investment banking and investment management advisory services to businesses, individuals, and wealth management teams. Darryl began his career at Citigroup where he gained experience in both investment banking and portfolio management. He has worked with entrepreneurs across many industries including technology, manufacturing, government services, medical devices, and consumer products.
Darryl graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and is an MBA candidate at NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
